Creates a UAS industry structure and identity

Serves as the single entry point for worldwide access to the Colorado UAS community
Represents Colorado’s UAS Industry at trade shows nationwide
Sponsors and administers the Rocky Mountain UAS Professionals (RMUAS) Meetup Group, an industry forum for discussions, events, meetings, and professional contacts

Advocates for public policy. Works with CO legislators to:

Prevent industry-damaging laws and regulations
Promote productive positive legislation that encourages UAS industry growth
Influence national UAS Guidelines

Promotes the safe, professional operation of UAS

Distributes current FAA, state, and local guidelines
Works with other organizations to establish/advocate best practices
Aids government agencies with applications for FAA-approved UAS operating sites in CO

Conducts public awareness campaigns

Help the general public understand UAS use and the importance
Exposes other industries to the benefits of UAS

Supports commercial, government, and private uses of UAS

Promotes business relationships for CO UAS companies
Works with First Responder communities and government agencies to realize benefits using UAS
Helped establish a 6-county UAS flight area in Colorado’s San Luis Valley – the most desirable UAS flight area in the nation, inside a 120×80 mile, 15,000ft MSL area
